CodePlex Releases "Controlled Vocabulary" Add-on for Microsoft Outlook 2007/2010

Codplex's Michael Fourie has released his Controlled Vocabulary Add-on for Microsoft Outlook 2007/2010 that restricts people to a defined set of subject prefixes so the audience can filter them better to avoid unstructured email.  It’s envisaged as a better solution as opposed to open tagging which is too subjective.

Wikipedia = Controlled vocabularies provide a way to organize knowledge for subsequent retrieval. They are used in subject indexing schemes, subject headings, thesauri and taxonomies. Controlled vocabulary schemes mandate the use of predefined, authorised terms that have been preselected by the designer of the vocabulary, in contrast to natural language vocabularies, where there is no restriction on the vocabulary.
