Intel Plans Price Cut for Several Processors in January

According to what we see from Intel’s latest roadmap, the official launch of Clarkdale will lead to price drop of some Intel low-end and mid-segment processors.

There will be five Clarkdale processors coming early in January, including Core i5-670/661/660/650 and Pentium G6950. They’re going to cost $284/$196/$196/$176/$87, respectively. A few days later, the pricing of Pentium E6500 will drop from $84 to $74, E5400 dropping from $74 to $64, and E3300 from $53 to $43.

You may expect Core i7-930 on February 28th with a price tag of $284, and in the following month the hexa-core Core i7-980X will make its debut for $999.
