A day in the Internet: 210 billion emails, 700,000 new Facebook members and more

Lifehacker found and posted a fancy infograph that shows, in numbers, a little bit of what a day in the Internet looks like:

The above statistics really put the Internet’s size into perspective. It’s incredible to think that more emails are sent out daily than actual physical mail in the U.S. The rapid information exchange that the Internet allows is simply amazing, especially with social networking services such as Facebook and Twitter, and the above infograph really shows how much these services are used worldwide.
