Microsoft integrates LinkedIn across Windows Live

Facebook, MySpace and LinkedIn. Now Windows Live integrates all three major social networks across its service, thanks to a partnership Microsoft announced today with LinkedIn, the popular network for professionals.

If you're friends with someone on LinkedIn, Windows Live contacts can now suck in that person's LinkedIn profile information and sync it with other contact info.

Microsoft has also pulled in LinkedIn for Windows Live Messenger, which lets you view your friends' updates from other social networks. Windows Live users can comment on network updates from right inside Messenger, and now can update their own LinkedIn statuses as well.

The integration starts rolling out today and should be available worldwide within three weeks, Microsoft said. Below is a video with more information about the LinkedIn partnership, and additional info is available here.
