Oh, thank you God Almighty. Microsoft is dropping the "Series" from "Windows Phone 7 Series."
I stopped writing "Series" a while ago. It's cumbersome. It's confusing. It's just dumb.
Microsoft announced the change Friday on Twitter:
Tis the season for Series finales. We've got one too - dropping the 'Series' and keeping the 'Windows Phone 7.' Done.
