Although there hasn’t been any official words on this, it appears that Microsoft will also be discontinuing two more Windows Live services in Wave 4 (in addition to Events and My.Live.com which are going away this April) – Windows Live Call and Windows Live Toolbar.
Those of you who had been using Windows Live Call – a VoIP software that comes with Messenger which allows PC-to-PC and PC-to-Phone, might have recently received notice that your Windows Live Call service will be getting discontinued soon. Indeed, Voype by Telefonica, the service provider for Windows Live Call in USA, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Peru, and Venezuela, and Bell Canada, the service provider for Canada, have both indicated on their website that the service will be discontinued:

Microsoft’s next release of Windows Live Messenger slated for later this year will not support the Voype calling feature and users who upgrade to this version will no longer have access to the Voype calling service. Therefore, re-charges to your account, or new account registration will no longer be active. Please consume your remaining balance by June 1st, 2010.
Bell Internet Talk
As of March 31, 2010, we will no longer be offering Internet Talk service, and your account will be discontinued. You may continue using your minutes until then or please log into your account and start a chat session with a live Bell agent who will reimburse your unused balance. To keep in touch with friends and family, Bell offers alternative long distance solutions such as prepaid long distance cards and international long distance plans with affordable rates. We thank you for your business and apologize for any inconvenience.
